In Collaboration with Time, Tina Atami transforms the entrance of her own home into a site of quiet intervention — a space where discarded materials and forgotten objects become part of a larger meditation on decay, value, and rebirth.

The exhibition is anchored in a simple yet profound idea: all things become waste, and waste, too, contains memory. Once-precious items are eventually thrown away. But here, Atami invites us to linger in that transformation — to see not just what is lost, but what may still emerge.

Working with the slow passage of time as both collaborator and medium, Atami constructs assemblages and rituals from everyday debris. Materials are neither glorified nor disguised. Instead, they are allowed to show their wear — traces of life, touch, erosion. These elements gather at the threshold of the domestic, blurring the boundary between interior and exterior, public and private, past and becoming.

The result is an environment that honors impermanence while resisting disappearance. The installation doesn't restore the old, but listens to it. It doesn't fight decay, but folds it into a new rhythm — one shaped by reincarnation, weather, and the artist's own lived intimacy with the materials.

Collaboration with Time is both a declaration and an offering: that nothing is ever truly gone, and that time, in its quiet collaboration with the artist, knows how to make the discarded sacred again.
